Each spectrum in ASCII format is provided as a file, which contains
one line of header identifying the filename and an additional zero-point
velocity scale correction derived via measurement of a selection of
good telluric lines. The spectra are on the heliocentric wavelength scale,
rectified and cleaned from cosmics and flaws. An example of the first
red spectrum is reproduced below.  Wavelengths are in Angstroms.

  The correspondence  between the files, their RJD (Heliocentric
Julian date of of the mid-exposure minus 2400000), and their weights,
which are proportional the the square of their S/N ratio can be found
in the auxiliary files

   RJD.H3   for H alpha spectra
   RJD.SI2  for the Si II 2 spectra, and
   RJD.BLU  for the blue spectra near Mg II 4481 A line .
