Our photometric-classification method is based on the SN classification technique of Sako et al. (2011, Cat. J/ApJ/738/162), aided by host-galaxy redshifts (0.051 discovered by HST (Riess+, 2004) J/ApJ/594/1 : High-z supernovae VRI mag and distances (Tonry+, 2003) J/AJ/112/2408 : Light Curves of 29 SNe (Hamuy+ 1996) http://www.icg.port.ac.uk/~campbelh/ : SNe Ia research Campbell home page http://classic.sdss.org/supernova : SDSS supernova survey home page Byte-by-byte Description of file: table6.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 5 I5 --- CID [703/22075] Unique identification number for the whole SDSS-II SN Survey; ( in Simbad) 7- 14 F8.6 --- z [0.03/0.71] BOSS host-galaxy redshift 16- 23 F8.6 --- e_z [0/0.01] z uncertainty 25- 33 F9.5 deg RAdeg [-47.4/58] SN event right ascension (J2000) 35- 42 F8.5 deg DEdeg [-1.3/1.3] SN event declination (J2000) 44- 52 F9.5 deg RAGdeg [-47.4/58] Host galaxy right ascension (J2000) 54- 61 F8.5 deg DEGdeg [-1.3/1.3] Host galaxy declination (J2000) 63- 81 I19 --- ObjID SDSS-DR8 object identifier for the host galaxy 83- 90 E8.3 --- X0 [8e-6/3e-3] SALT2 parameter X_0_ in flux units 92- 99 E8.3 --- e_X0 X0 uncertainty 101-105 F5.2 mag X1 [-3/3] SALT2 shape parameter X_1_ 107-110 F4.2 mag e_X1 X1 uncertainty 112-116 F5.2 mag c [-0.25/0.25] SALT2 color parameter 118-121 F4.2 mag e_c Color uncertainty 123-131 E9.3 --- C01 Covariance of (X0,X1) 133-140 E8.3 --- C00 Variance of X0 142-148 F7.4 --- C11 Variance of X1 150-155 F6.4 --- C22 Variance of c 157-165 E9.3 --- C02 Covariance of (X0, c) 167-172 F6.3 --- C12 Covariance of (X1, c) 174-178 F5.2 mag mu [36/42.8] Uncorrected distance modulus 180-184 F5.2 mag muc Corrected distance modulus 186-189 F4.2 mag e_mu [0.06/0.6] Distance modulus error -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- History: From electronic version of the journal ================================================================================ (End) Emmanuelle Perret [CDS] 20-Oct-2014
